Bypass intercept

Optional for sequential data sets and local VSAM data sets. Use this option to control whether 

AR/CTL

 performs interception for the data set. Interception is required if you want 

AR/CTL

 to reposition the data set during restart.

Perform interception for the data set.

Y

Do not perform interception for (ignore) the data set. You may want to use this value if AR/CTL should not provide any services for this data set.
