AR/CTL for Db2 DSNHLI utility (PTF BQQ4959 applied)

The AR/CTL for Db2 DSNHLI utility is a function that identifies load modules that are statically linked, including the DSNHLI module.

The utility generates the following members:

  • Linkage Editor control statements in the LINKCTL PDS
  • JCL with Linkage Editor control statements in the BINDJCL PDS

You can relink the statically linked load modules (including the DSNHLI module) by using either your JCL or the JCL generated in the BINDJCL PDS.

To use your JCL, you must use the Linkage Editor control statements generated in the LINKCTL PDS.
