Defining aliases to access the product tables
Before you can transmit data to BMC AMI zAdviser, you must define aliases for the product tables.
To define aliases to access the product tables
Use the following procedure to define the aliases:
- In an ISPF editor, edit the DB2ssid1 member located in userhlq.UBMCCNTL, where ssid is your Db2 subsystem ID.
- On the Command line, enter Find 'AINCDFPE'
- If 'AINCDFPE' is found, proceed to Step 8.
- If 'AINCDFPE' is not found, proceed to the next step.
- On the Command line, enter Find 'END OF SET VARIABLES'
Before the previous //*---------------------- line, insert the following section:
