ROW CHANGE TIMESTAMP considerations

When you add a ROW CHANGE TIMESTAMP column to a table containing data, UNLOAD PLUS applies a default value to the preexisting data rows.

The default value is as follows:

  • For Db2 12, the default value is the UNLOAD PLUS utility runtime.
  • For Db2 13, UNLOAD PLUS uses the value found in SYSCOLUMNS.DEFAULTVALUE by default. If no value is present, the default value is the UNLOAD PLUS utility runtime.
