Exception Advisor component

The Performance Advisor component maintains a Db2 Performance Advisor Database (PADB). Using the PADB, Exception Advisor identifies the root causes of previously triggered exception executions and makes recommendations.

Exception Advisor compares the accompanying data to past execution statistics for the same statement in baseline or aggregated tables. You can adjust the analysis without changing code. Exception Advisor bases its recommendations on observed conditions.

The Exception Advisor component is available  only as part of the BMC Performance for DB2 SQL solution or the SQL Performance for DB2 solution (not as a stand-alone component).
