Task 4: Preparing to recover the DB2 subsystem


Use the following procedure to prepare the DB2 subsystem for recovery at the disaster recovery site.

To prepare the DB2 subsystem

  1. In the BMC AMI Recovery for Db2 Main Menu, select 6. Subsystem recovery and press Enter.
  2. In the System Recovery Preparation and JCL Generation panel, select 5.Disaster recovery and press Enter.
  3. In the Disaster Recovery panel, select 3.Prepare to Recover the DB2 Subsystem
  4. In the Disaster Recovery - System Resources Recovery panel specify the options on the series of panels and press Enter.
