Generating the NGTSSSYN DD
The SmartSwitch feature generates the BMC AMI Utilities control statements even if you do not specify the NGTSSSYN data set.
- Specify //NGTSSSYN DD DUMMY if you do not want to use, save, or see NGTSSSYN.
- If you do not specify a data set, the data is generated to SYSOUT.
Allocating the NGTSSSYN DD
You can allocate the NGTSSSYN data set to one of the following data sets:
- A specified SYSOUT class (using the following syntax: //NGTSSSYN DD SYSOUT=*)
- A BSAM sequential data set
- A partitioned data set (PDS) with a specified member name
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
