REORG PLUS honors SYSTABLEPART.PCTFREE_UPD and Db2 system parameter PCTFREE_UPD with exceptions noted below.

PCTFREE FOR UPDATE is ignored when one of the following conditions exists:

  • PCTFREE FOR UPDATE is set to -1.
  • System parameter PCTFREE_UPD is set to AUTO and the PCTFREE FOR UPDATE clause was not used at create time.
