Option

Description

 USEACCUM YES

(default) USEACCUM YES takes the log records that already exist in current change accumulation files as input to the accumulation process. This capability reduces the amount of data to be read from the log.

 USEACCUM NO

With USEACCUM NO, R+/CHANGE ACCUM constructs the change accumulation file from the logs and does not take advantage of any existing change accumulation files that have already been formatted. This method could be useful if, for example, your earlier change accumulation files are damaged or not available.
