Analyzing R+/CHANGE ACCUM data by target space

After you use

R+/CHANGE ACCUM

to generate change accumulation files, you can display information about the volume of log data handled by

R+/CHANGE ACCUM

for a specified target space. You can also list each group that includes a particular target space.

Viewing log record data by target object allows you to:

  • Determine the sizes of the change accumulation files
  • Review the first and last log ranges scanned

Viewing change accumulation groups that include a specified target space allows you to determine:

  • Whether a change accumulation file is available for recovery
  • Whether you defined your change accumulation groups efficiently

If you run R+/CHANGE ACCUM and it finds no log records a for a specific target space, R+/CHANGE ACCUM records the fact that no log records exist for the range.
