ACCUM syntax

ACCUM allows you to create change accumulation files for the specified table spaces or specified change accumulation groups, and optionally, indexes associated with the table spaces.

Note

An index that is rebuilt cannot be processed by an ACCUM statement in the same SYSIN.

R+/CHANGE ACCUM stores change accumulation groups in the R+/CHANGE ACCUM repository. You can manage the change accumulation groups through the R+/CHANGE ACCUM  interface or by using the MODIFY ACCUM utility. (See Using-the-MODIFY-ACCUM-utility.)

ACCUM statements may appear in the same SYSIN as RECOVER or REBUILD statements. Spaces being recovered with BMC AMI Recover may have change accumulation files generated in the same job step.

The following figure shows the syntax of the ACCUM statement.
