BMCP (primary subsystem)

The BMCP subsystem establishes supervisory services and allows interception of the following supervisor call (SVC) requests for BCSS across multiple BMC products.

  • OPEN
  • BLDL/FIND
  • STOW
  • CLOSE
  • ATTACH
  • LINK

These products share the BMCP, so only one copy of the BMCP is needed in your system. All such products continue to operate normally even if the BMCP is stopped.
