SYNCVAL—Synchronize Db2 statistics


Use the Modify Synchronize Statistics Recording panel or the SYNCVAL command to specify whether Db2 statistics recording is synchronized with some part of the hour. Synchronization can occur at the beginning of the hour or at any number of minutes past the hour, up to 59.

Description

DB2ssid

Db2 subsystem ID or the name of the Db2 data sharing group to which the command applies.

opertuneID

OPERTUNE system profile name (if OPERTUNE is running as a started task) or the batch job name (if OPERTUNE is running as a batch job).

N

No synchronization takes place. This is the Db2 default.

0

Statistics recording is synchronized to the beginning of the hour.

value

Statistics recording is synchronized to the specified number of minutes past the hour.

NORESET

The changes you request remain in effect until the Db2 subsystem is cycled.
