RIDBLKS—Max RID block

Use the Modify Max RID Block panel or the RIDBLKS command to specify the number of blocks to use for the RID pool. The sorting of record identifiers (RIDs) during list prefetch, hybrid joins, and access through multiple indexes occurs in the RID pool. The value specified is the maximum number of RID storage blocks that can be allocated at any time. No storage is allocated until needed at run time.
