Loading CSV data

Use this procedure to load data from CSV files.

Before you begin

Review Considerations-when-loading-CSV-data.

To load CSV data

  1. Ensure that your data is formatted within the requirements that are specified in Considerations-when-loading-CSV-data.
  2. Specify FORMAT CSV with your LOAD command.Depending on the format of your CSV file, you might also need to specify one or more CSV options. For more information about this option, see CSV.
  3. Include appropriate field specifications with your LOAD command.For considerations regarding field specifications, see CSV field specifications.
