NGTSSJCL data set
You can use the SmartSwitch feature in LOADPLUS to generate BMC AMI Utilities (BMC AMI Utilities) control statements. These control statements includes JOB, EXEC, and DD statements. You can then use the BMC AMI Utilities control statements to execute a native job in BMC AMI Load for Db2 (BMC AMI Load) without using the SmartSwitch feature.
The JOB statement in the generated BMC AMI Utilities control statements is a skeleton. Modify the JOB statement (for example, the accounting information and job class) to suit your site requirements.
Generating the NGTSSJCL DD
The SmartSwitch feature generates the BMC AMI Utilities control statements even if you do not specify the NGTSSJCL data set.
- Specify //NGTSSJCL DD DUMMY if you do not want to use, save, or see NGTSSJCL.
- If you do not specify a data set, the data is generated to SYSOUT.
Allocating the NGTSSJCL DD
You can allocate the NGTSSJCL data set to one of the following data sets:
- A specified SYSOUT class (using the following syntax: //NGTSSJCL DD SYSOUT=*)
- A BSAM sequential data set
- A partitioned data set (PDS) with a specified member name
