How the switch occurs


The process of switching a job from LOADPLUS to BMC AMI Load typically involves more than simply copying the LOADPLUS syntax to BMC AMI Load. In most cases, LOADPLUS performs the following steps: 

  1. Parses the job commands in the SYSIN and builds new syntax that is compatible with BMC AMI Load
  2. Places the new syntax in internal classic-utility control blocks
  3. Merges any option module specifications into these control blocks as if you had specified the specifications in the syntax
