BACKOUT

(BMC.DB2.SPE2310)

BACKOUT keyword tells LOADPLUS whether to leave the object in restrictive status when the DISCARDS limit is reached during a RESUME YES SHRLEVEL NONE load.

Valid values are as follows:

  • YES—Sets the status to RW, making the object available for use if LOADPLUS fails because the DISCARDS limit is reached.
  • NO—Sets the object status to STOP if LOADPLUS fails because the DISCARDS limit is reached. This behavior is the default when the BACKOUT keyword is not specified

If you specify BACKOUT without supplying YES or NO, the default setting is YES.

Warning

Important

BACKOUT is applicable only for LOAD RESUME SHRLEVEL NONE.
