The ApplCompat parameter specifies the application compatibility level that the High-speed Apply Engine product uses to bind packages.

  • CURRENT—High-speed Apply Engine uses the current function level of the Db2 subsystem.
  • SYSPARM—High-speed Apply Engine does not specify a value. Instead, the product uses the Db2 subsystem's ZPARM setting, which might be lower than the current function level.
  • function-level— High-speed Apply Engine uses a valid Db2 function level in the form VvvRr or VvvRrMmmm

Usage

By default, High-speed Apply Engine sets the APPLCOMPAT level to support syntax and features associated with the current function level of the Db2 subsystem to enable for the widest range of processing. For information about APPLCOMPAT BIND option, see the IBM documentation.
