About User Exits

User exit routines offer you a way to modify the code path where you find them.

DASD MANAGER PLUS product provides an exit within the security, resize, and job card code paths.

Although BMC recommends that you set a security exit that is appropriate for your users, you do not need to use the resize or job card exits. DASD MANAGER PLUS no longer includes load modules for the Front End, RESIZE, and Job Card user exits. By default, DASD MANAGER PLUS now includes these behaviors automatically even if the exits do not exist. If the exits exist, DASD MANAGER PLUS uses them and still includes sample source code for them.
