Migrating to Db2 Version 12 function level 500 from Version 11
Complete the appropriate procedures to migrate your Administrative products from Db2 Version 11 new-function mode to Db2 Version 12.
To migrate ALTER or Change Manager version 12.1 or later
- Migrate the Db2 catalog.
- Update the DSNEXIT and DSNLOAD in the following jobs in HLQ.UBMCCNTL:
- ACMssidP
- ACSssidP
- AEXssidP
- DB2ssid1
- Run all of the following bind jobs from HLQ.UBMCCNTL:
- ACMssidP
- ACSssidP
- AEXssidP
- Complete the migration procedure, see Completing-the-migration-to-a-new-version-of-DB2.
To migrate Catalog Manager version 12.1 or later
- Migrate the Db2 catalog.
- Update the DSNEXIT and DSNLOAD in the following jobs in HLQ.UBMCCNTL:
- ACTssidP
- DAAssidP or PS1ssidP
- AEXssidP
- DB2ssid1
- Run the following bind jobs from HLQ.UBMCCNTL:
- ACTssidP
- DAAssidP or PS1ssidP
- AEXssidP
- Complete the migration procedure, see Completing-the-migration-to-a-new-version-of-DB2.
To migrate DASD MANAGER PLUS version 12.1 or later
- Migrate the Db2 catalog.
- Update the DSNEXIT and DSNLOAD in the following jobs in HLQ.UBMCCNTL:
- ASUssidP
- ACSssidP
- ATSssidP
- AEXssidP
- DB2ssid1
- Run the following bind jobs from HLQ.UBMCCNTL:
- ASUssidP
- ACSssidP
- ATSssidP
- AEXssidP
- Complete the migration procedure, see Completing-the-migration-to-a-new-version-of-DB2.
To migrate BMC AMI Command Center version or 12.1
Issue the following console command to stop the GUD agents: / dbcssid GUD,STOPALL.
- Migrate your Db2 catalog.
- Issue the following console command to start your GUD agents: / dbcssid GUD,STARTALL
