Copying an index for a What-If scenario


Use the following procedure to copy an index, edit it, and save it as a What-If index in a What-If scenario.

To copy an index

New BMC Workbench console
  1. Create a What-If scenario and select an index.For more information, see Creating-and-editing-a-What-If-index-scenario.
  2. Click Copy.
  3. In the Index Attributes dialog box, change the name and edit any other index attributes.For more information, see Adding-an-index-to-a-What-If-scenario.
  4. Click Finish.The wizard closes, and the results pane shows the new index with NW_plus_circle_green.png beside it.
Classic BMC Workbench console
  1. Create a What-If scenario and select an index.For more information, see Creating-a-What-If-scenario.
  2. Click Copy.
  3. In the Index Attributes dialog box, change the name and edit any other index attributes.For more information, see Adding-an-index-to-a-What-If-scenario.
  4. Click Finish.The wizard closes, and the results pane shows the new index with Add-16.png beside it.
