TrueSight Middleware Transaction Monitor

The Application Transaction Tracing capability of TrueSight Middleware and Transaction Monitor has been withdrawn from the sale due to limited market adoption and evolving customer needs. This capability is also known as TrueSight Middleware Transaction Monitor, BMC Application Transaction Tracing, BMC Middleware Management - Transaction Monitoring, or Q Nami!. 

At this time there is no direct replacement technology available from BMC for application transaction tracing. Customers looking for Application Performance Management solutions should evaluate TrueSight App Visibility Manager. BMC Middleware Monitor remains available and is not impacted by this change.

Note that the TrueSight Middleware and Transaction Monitor product comprises the following monitoring capabilities:

• Transaction Monitor (the withdrawn functionality, also known as Application Transaction Tracing)
• Middleware Monitor

Each of the middleware capabilities has undergone product name and packaging changes. Only the Application Transaction Tracing capability — which allowed the timing of a transaction crossing through middleware and other technologies to be monitored based on a model of that transaction pathway — has been withdrawn. The withdrawal of this capability does not impact the other major capability, which is the monitoring of the middleware itself. Middleware Monitor is fully supported and remains available for sale.
