+MAXWAIT


The +MAXWAIT parameter specifies the maximum wait time, in minutes, before processing shuts down if no servers are available. Servers may be unavailable because they are in error, or you have not defined enough servers.

+MAXWAIT is set by the configuration job, usually UBMCCNTL(NGT$GLBL). You can override this parameter in individual utility jobs with the UTLPARMS DD. You can set the value of this parameter dynamically at runtime using the XSUTGLOB-global-variable-definition-automation-control-point

(default) Processing waits a maximum of 10 minutes before shutting down if no servers are available.

maxWaitTime

A value, in minutes, from 1 through 60, indicating the maximum time processing waits before shutting down, if no servers are available.


Example
+MAXWAIT(20)

Processing waits a maximum of 20 minutes if servers are unavailable. Otherwise, processing shuts down.
