+CSVSIGN

Use this parameter to add a sign before a positive number or replace it with a space. This parameter is applicable to the FORMAT CSV and FORMAT DELIMITED options when operating on numerical values having one of the following data types:

Operands

HYPHEN

(default) Places a hyphen (-) before negative numbers and no character before non-negative numbers

PLUS

Places a hyphen (-) before negative numbers and a plus symbol (+) before non-negative numbers

SPACE

Places a hyphen (-) before negative numbers and a space before non-negative numbers

When you specify +CSVSIGN(SPACE), BMC AMI Unload formats numbers as follows:

  • b is a blank character.
  • n is a number.
