ENUMROWS


This option provides an estimate of the total number of rows that BMC AMI Unload expects to be unloaded during the unload phase when ORDER YES or ORDER BY is in effect. The integer value supplied in this keyword is used by BMC AMI Unload to accurately size the work files used to sort data during the unload.

Operands

0

(Default) This value is appropriate for up to 180 GB of data. 

The default of zero is appropriate for sorts of approximately 200 million records with a 1,000-byte record length. If you have half the record length, you can sort double the number of records.

integer

The number of records been sorted. For larger sorts, specify a integer not exceeding 12 digits. The maximum value is one trillion rows. The maximum sort size supported by BMC AMI Unload is 4 TB.

Important

BMC AMI Unload accepts this option only when DIRECT YES is in effect and ignores it when DIRECT NO is in effect.
