BYPART


BYPART tells Unload to unload individual partitions to separate files. 

For unloading a partitioned object with numbered JCL DD statements, use the UNLOADDNPFX option instead of the BYPART option. The BYPART option applies only when the target table to be unloaded is partitioned and a single OUTPUT statement (dynamic allocation) is used. If you use the BYPART option with a single JCL DD statement (as opposed to an OUTPUT statement), BMC AMI Unload unloads the entire object into the specified unload data set and ignores the BYPART option.

When you use the BYPART option with a single OUTPUT statement that contains an &PART variable in the DSNAME value, BMC AMI Unload unloads the total number of partitions in the table space individually to separate files. You can limit the parts unloaded with EXCLUDE-PART or a WHERE clause and the keyword FILTERPART

You cannot use the BYPART option in combination with the following options:
