This topic describes BMC AMI Stats requirements and restrictions:

Requirements

BMC AMI Stats

 requires the following authorizations:

  • For the database, STATS authority
  • One of the following administrator authorities:
    • SYSADM
    • SYSOPR
    • DBADM
    • DBCTRL
    • DBMAINT

Restrictions

BMC AMI Stats has the following restrictions:

  • Does not support the PART keyword
  • Does not support sampling
  • Does not collect SPACE statistics in SYSTABLEPART when you run the product on an object that has no partitioning index
  • Does not collect:
    • Histogram statistics
    • Statistics for table spaces that have a restricted Db2 state
    • Db2 compression statistics (PCTROWCOMP and PAGESAVE)
    • LOB objects
    • XML objects
    • CLONE objects
    • Multi-table simple table spaces
    • HASH tables   
    • Clone table spaces or table spaces with an instance qualifier of 2
  • (PTF BQU2620 not applied) BMC AMI Stats supports partition-by-range (PBR) and partition-by-growth (PBG) table spaces with partition sizes (DSSIZE) greater than 64 GB except for the following PAGESIZE and DSSIZE combinations:
