SQL Assurance rules set

BMC AMI SQL Assurance for Db2 provides one predefined expert rules set:

  • COBDFLT contains rules that are related to general SQL standards, specifically designed to review SQL statements used by application developers.
    • The rules set member COBDFLT, is available in the runtime install data set: RTEHLQ..BMCSAMP (default).
  • You can customize or create your own custom rules set by using COBDFLT as a starting point. For more information, see Customizing expert rules.

To use predefined rules

  1. Configure the plug-in variables file (AMI_DevOps.properties) with the ruledsn and rules variables.  For more information, see Preparing-for-a-project.
  2. Configure the project with the authentication build step by using the plug-in variables file.  For more information, see BMC AMI DevOps Common - Authentication.

For more information on Expert rules, see Expert rules.
