Downloading the BMC AMI SQL Assurance installation files


You can obtain the product installation files by downloading them from the BMC Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) website. You can access product pages on the EPD website depending on your license entitlements. 

Before you begin

When to download the installation files

For a fresh installation or an upgrade, see the release notes to determine the latest update. 

If you sign up for Proactive Notifications,  you will be notified about new features, maintenance availability, and bulletins about critical fixes.

Installation files

The following table provides a link to the page in the EPD website that contains the installation files for this product. From the EPD page, you can select and download the installation files for your platform. To access the EPD website, provide your BMC Support credentials. You might also be prompted to complete the Export Compliance Form.

To download the installation files from the EPD website

  1. Log on to the BMC Electronic Product Download site.
  2. Enter your login credentials and click Submit.
  3. If you are accessing this site for the first time, you are redirected to the Export Compliance and Access Terms page. Enter information in the following fields:
    1. In the fields in the Language and Required Export Information sections, select values or enter the appropriate information.
    2. Select the I Agree check box in the following sections:
      • Export Compliance Statement
      • Product Access Terms
    3. Click Continue.
  4. If you are accessing this site for the first time, create a new EPD profile. As your Install Platform, select LinuxMicrosoft Windows/NT, or both. For more information, see Electronic Product Distribution (EPD) Help Information.

  5. Use any one of the following procedures to download the installation files from the EPD website:

    Click here if you are using the New Product Download Tool.
    1. Click on the EPD link provided in the preceding table.
    2. From the Product Downloads (EPD) page, navigate to the SELECT PRODUCT field.
    3. Expand the solution list for BMC AMI Database Solutions for Db2.
    4. From the list, select the 

      BMC AMI SQL Assurance for Db2

      , 12.1.00 check box corresponding to your deployment platform.

    5. Click Download.
    Click here if you are using the Legacy EPD Tool.
    1. From the Electronic Product Distribution dashboard, navigate to the Additional Products tab.
    2. Verify that the Profile list displays your profile correctly.
    3. From the ShowSolutions list, find BMC AMI Database Solutions for Db2.
    4. Expand the solution list for BMC AMI Database Solutions for Db2.
    5. Expand the solution list for 

      BMC AMI SQL Performance for Db2

       12.1.00 item by clicking the + next to the name in the Product Name column.

    6. Select the 

      BMC AMI SQL Assurance for Db2

      , 12.1.00 check box corresponding to your deployment platform.

    7. Click Download.

The zipped installation folder is downloaded. This folder contains the following files:

12.01.00.nnnn represents the installed version number of the plug-in.
