+MAXTASKS


The +MAXTASKS parameter specifies the maximum number of concurrently executing tasks per server.

(default) Runs up to 10 tasks per server simultaneously.

integer

An integer between 1 and 20 representing the maximum number of tasks per server.

+MAXTASKS can have an maximum of 20 tasks per server. You can specify a lower maximum number of server tasks. For example, if you specify +SVRDISK(3) and +MAXTASKS(7), no more than 21 server tasks can run at once. If you specify +MAXTASKS(20), the highest valid value possible, up to 60 tasks can run at once.

Parallel processing is restricted to five concurrent server tasks.
