+CHECKDEFERRED

The +CHECKDEFERRED parameter indicates whether BMC AMI Utilities should check for and ignore deferred table spaces up-front during SYSIN processing. BMC AMI Utilities skip deferred table spaces during Wildcard Expand if +CHECKDEFERRED(YES) has been specified.

CHECKDEFERRED.png

The values are defined as follows:

NO

(SPE2010) (Default) Do not check for deferred table spaces.

YES

Check for deferred prior to reorg during wildcard processing.

Important

You must use the full value YES or NO. You cannot abbreviate them as Y or N.

Example
+CHECKDEFERRED(NO)

The product does not check for deferred table spaces during processing.

The following message is issued in SYSERROR. If +CHECKDEFERRED(YES) has been specified, the objects are skipped prior to Reorg with message:

NGTZ322W DEFERRED OBJECT (TS) FOUND, TABLESPACE db.ts SKIPPED.

If +CHECKDEFERRED(NO) has been specified, the objects are skipped in Reorg with message:
