+INITWINDOW
The +INITWINDOW parameter specifies the maximum amount of memory that each server task can use. This allows BMC AMI Reorg to limit memory usage.
BMC AMI Reorg issues a message if the object being reorganized is too big to run.
The value specified must be between 64 and 4000.
All values are expressed in megabytes.
512 | (SPE2010) (Default) Signifies that each server task is allowed to use 512 MB of memory |
---|---|
integer | Specifies the size of the data space in megabytes. The value specified must be between 64 and 4000. |
4000 | Specifies that if 4000 is used, 4G is used for the task. Also, 4000 allows multiple dataspaces for internal reorg processing. Any value under 4000 restricts the internal processing to a single dataspace. The value of 4000 is recommended for when a single table space data set is approximately 500 million rows. |
