Guidelines

Limited supportBMC provides limited support for this version of the product. As a result, BMC no longer accepts comments in this space. If you encounter problems with the product version or the space, contact BMC Support.BMC recommends upgrading to the latest version of the product. To see documentation for that version, see BMC AMI Reorg for Db2 13.1.

ROWFORMAT

The ROWFORMAT option tells BMC AMI Reorg to convert the row format during a reorganization.

ROWFORMAT.png

You can specify one of the following keywords:

BRF

Converts the row format from reordered row format (RRF) to basic row format (BRF).

Important

BMC intends to deprecate this keyword in a future release.

RRF

Converts the row format from BRF to RRF.

Important

(BMC.DB2.SPE2110) The RRF subsystem parameter is forced enabled. BMC AMI Reorg performs the following actions:

  • Converts the row format of the rows in the table space from BRF to RRF.
  • Updates the value of column FORMAT in SYSIBM.SYSTABLEPART to R.

If the table space has a dictionary, BMC AMI Reorg rebuilds the dictionary unless the HONOR_KEEPDICTIONARY DB2 subsystem parameter value is YES.
