BMC AMI Recovery Manager uses BMC Db2 Component Services (DBC) to show available SSIDs from the BMC AMI Recovery Manager Main Menu.

To use this feature, you must have a DBC started task running. For more information about DBC, see the BMC AMI Recovery Manager for Db2 documentation.

Current SQLID

The Current SQLID is displayed on the Main Menu and defaults to your current user ID.

This ID becomes the high-level qualifier in the name of any object set that you create in a BMC AMI Recovery Manager session. If you want to use one of your secondary IDs, change it on the Main Menu before proceeding to the next panel.

Important

  • If SEPARATE SECURITY is set to NO and your primary user ID has SYSADM authority, you can change your SQLID to any value.
  • SQLID can be set to one of the secondary IDs regardless of your authorization.
  • CURRENT SQLID cannot be set to a role.

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
