ARMBHST—History file maintenance

You can use the history file maintenance program ARMBHST, to perform the following tasks:

  • Get reports about the current content of the BMC AMI Recovery Manager history file
  • Recover a damaged history file
  • Print out the format control record 
  • Cover aspects of history file health checks
  • Validate the integrity of archive3 in history files
  • Report the last image copies to the DBD01, SYSTSCPY, SYSUTILX, and SYSDBDXA table spaces located in the history file
