You can use the object set health check to check various aspects of objects in the object set.
You can produce the health check report for an object set with BMC AMI Recovery Manager in batch mode by using the ARMBGPV program (see ARMBGPV—Object set recovery revalidation).
You can automatically generate health check JCL for one or more selected object sets from either the Object Set List panel or from the Object Set Edit panel.
Before you begin
You need EXECUTE authority for the BMC AMI Recovery Manager for Db2 plan.
To generate batch health check JCL for one or more object sets
- In the BMC AMI Recovery for Db2 Main Menu, select 1. Appl object sets and press Enter. The Object Selection panel is displayed.
- In the Object Set List panel, type a wildcard pattern or the name of a single object set in the format creator.name and press Enter. The object set or object sets that you specified are displayed.
To report on selected object sets only, type R beside one or more individual object sets. Type RA in any space in the Act column to report on all object sets. Press Enter.
