Displaying, updating, and deleting backup options for standard copies
To set backup options, you need the following authorizations (if you are not the creator of the object set):
- EXECUTE authority for the BMC AMI Recovery Manager Db2 plan
- TYPE A authority if you intend to save the object set
- TYPE O authority if you do not intend to save the object set
To set backup options at the object set level
- Display a object set (see Retrieving-saved-object-sets).
- In the Object List Panel, select 2. Object Set Edit.
- In the Object Set Edit Panel, select 1. Utility options.
- In the Utility Options Specification panel, select Update as the Action, then Backup as the Utility Type.
Browse or update the options in the following table. From any option panel, press Enter to save your changes or press F3 to cancel any changes without saving.

To delete object set backup options
- Display a object set (see Retrieving-saved-object-sets).
- In the Object List panel, select Object Set Edit, and then press Enter.
- Select Utility options and then press Enter.
- In the Utility Options Specification panel, select Delete and then press Enter.After you confirm the deletion, the appropriate backup option values from other levels will be in effect for this object set. For more information, see BMC-AMI-Recovery-Manager-backup-and-recovery-options.
