Recommendation for backup and recovery options
As a general rule, you should set backup and recovery options at the most general level and specify exceptions at the object set level.
This provides ways to make changes to those options with minimum effort.
The rules of precedence that are used by BMC AMI Recovery Manager when conflicting values are specified for an option are shown in the following figure.
