ARMBWDC—System recovery data collection

This section describes how to use the ARMBWDC program to write data-collection information related to start and end times for potential or actual disaster recoveries.

The ARMBWDC program writes data collection information about recovery start and end times for actual, estimated, and simulated disaster recoveries of system resources.

It is only available with the Recovery Management for Db2 solution. For more information about data collection, see the Recovery Management for Db2 documentation. The data collection information includes the recovery start and end times for system resources and the start and end times for DSNUTILB calls for application recovery. It can optionally record information about the recovery phases, catalog and directory, catalog indexes, BMC Common Db2 repository, BMC AMI Recovery Manager repository, and R+/CHANGE ACCUM repository.
