CHECKPT=PHASE

This option specifies whether to take restart checkpoints.

Valid values are as follows:

  • NO—No checkpoints are taken.
  • PHASE—(Default) Checkpoints are taken at the end of each phase.

You can override the CHECKPT installation option by using the Checkpoint override parameter (checkPt). Also, see the information about the CHECKINT option (which further limits the frequency of taking checkpoints) that follows:
