Running BMC AMI Recover jobs

Running the

BMC AMI Recover

utility may include the following tasks:

  • Starting BMC AMI Recover as a batch job
  • Restarting BMC AMI Recover from the last phase or sync point
  • Displaying the status of an BMC AMI Recover job
  • Terminating a BMC AMI Recover job

To run an BMC AMI Recover job, you must have the proper authorizations. For more information, see Authorization.

If an BMC AMI Recover job abnormally terminates, you must clean up the BMCUTIL and BMCSYNC tables as described in Cleaning-up-the-BMCUTIL-and-BMCSYNC-tables. A RECOVER UNLOADKEYS job also requires some cleanup as discussed in Cleaning-up-after-a-RECOVER-UNLOADKEYS-job.
