CHECKINT=0


This option specifies the time in minutes between checkpoints. This option allows you to balance the frequency of restart points with the overhead incurred when taking restart points. If CHECKPT=PHASE, a restart point is taken only if more minutes than those specified by CHECKINT have elapsed since the last restart point was taken. The default interval is 0 minutes. Use CHECKINT=0 and CHECKPT=PHASE to force a restart checkpoint after every phase.

You can override the CHECKINT installation option by using the CHECKINT keyword with the OPTIONS command (see CHECKINT-integer).
