PGFIX

PGFIX is a Data Collector command that determines whether PGFIX(YES) recommendations and actions are issued by the Buffer Pool Advisor. This also determines if Real Storage Management Mode is enabled. The Real Storage Management Mode is only available when PGFIX parameter is ON.

Parameter

Description

DCssid

Subsystem ID of the Data Collector for which the command reports the status

Use this parameter only when you issue the command from the console. When you issue the command from the Data Collector Command Interface panel, it automatically applies to the currently selected Data Collector.

DB2ssid

ID of the Db2 subsystem for which you are enabling or disabling PGFIX recommendations and actions

ON

Enables Buffer Pool Advisor to issue PGFIX recommendations and actions

OFF

Disables Buffer Pool Advisor to issue PGFIX recommendations and actions
