ALERT

(SPE2007)

ALERT is a Data Collector command that you can issue from the command text area of the Data Collector Command Interface input panel (DOMECMDA) or from the system operator console.

This command enables or disables sending alert messages to the console.

Parameter

Description

DCssid

Subsystem ID of the Data Collector for which the command reports. Use this parameter only when you are issuing the command from the console. When you issue the command from the Data Collector Command Interface panel, the command automatically applies to the currently selected Data Collector.

DB2ssid

Db2 subsystem ID for which alert messages are sent to the console

ALL

Sends alert messages to the console for all Db2 subsystems being monitored by the Data Collector

CONSOLEON

Enables sending alert messages to the console

CONSOLEOFF

Disables sending alert messages to the console
