DISCARDDN ddname

DISCARDDN ddname identifies the DD name for the discard data set.

If you specify DISCARDDN and allocate the named data set, discard processing is enabled. If you specify DISCARDDN but have not allocated the data set, BMC AMI Load issues an error message and the load terminates.

As an alternative to specifying a discard data set name in your DD statement, you can use the BMC-AMI-Load-OUTPUT-command. 

 

Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
