+WORKUNIT


The +WORKUNIT parameter specifies a unit name to be used for sequential temporary files. +WORKUNIT passes the unit name to XSUTDYNM for dynamic allocation. With BMC AMI Utilities the standard work files are VSAM and +WORKUNIT does not apply.

The values are defined as follows:

SYSDA

(SPE2010) (Default) Use SYSDA (on DASD) unit name for sequential temporary files

0

(SPE2010) (Default) No volumes are allocated

string

Any value acceptable to MVS may be supplied

n

Maximum number of volumes allocated

Possible values are 0 to 20
