+UIDHISTORY

The +UIDHISTORY parameter specifies the number of days to retain utility ID (UID) history records in the BMC AMI Utilities checkpoint (CKPT) data set.

Important

You can set this parameter only during installation.

UIDHISTORY.png

The value for numberOfDays can be from 0 to 180 days:

  • (SPE2010

) If you do not specify a number, the default value is 0.

  • If you specify 0
    • UID history records are not retained beyond the number of days specified in the OUTPUTAGE value.
    • (PTF BQU2620 applied) UID history records are deleted if +DELETEOUTPUT(YES)
In this case, the product deletes the UID entry in the CKPT data set when the utility is completed.
Example
+UIDHISTORY(30)

The product retains the UID history records for 30 days.

Example
+UIDHISTORY(0)

Depending on the values specified for +OUTPUTAGE and +DELETEOUTPUT, the product:

  • Retains UID history records up to the value of +OUTPUTAGE
  • (PTF BQU2620 applied) Deletes the records immediately if +DELETEOUTPUT(YES)

Important

For the rules that apply to parameter syntax, see Parameter syntax rules.
