(SPE2005)

The +TIMESTAMP parameter specifies the format of timestamp variables for the DSNAME DataSetName option.

TIMESTAMP.png

The values are defined as follows:

CONSTANT

BMC AMI Utilities use the same timestamp for symbolic variables when dynamic allocation is invoked during runs

When +TIMESTAMP(CONSTANT) is used, the timestamp related variables below are assigned the same value during job execution. TIMESTAMP(CONSTANT) is saved with Restarts.

UNIQUE

(Default) BMC AMI Utilities generate a unique timestamp for symbolic variable every time dynamic allocation is invoked

The impacted &symbolics variables are :

  • &DATE
  • &DATEJ
  • &JDATE
  • &JDAY
  • &DAY
  • &MONTH
  • &YEAR
  • &TIME
  • &TIME4
  • &HOUR
  • &MIN
  • &SEC
