+SVRTAPE

The +SVRTAPE parameter specifies the number of tape servers to start for server processing.

You can specify this parameter value using the XSUTGLOB-global-variable-definition-automation-control-point

Important

You must start at least one tape server for tape jobs. If you specify +SVRTAPE(0), any image copies produced go to disk (DASD).

integer

Specifies the number of tape servers to be utilized

The minimum value is 0. The maximum value is 32.

Example
+SVRTAPE(3)
